Note from the author: I would like to thank all the narrators for their contributions. Whether it was a short story or a line here and there, I deeply, deeply appreciate it. This project was a huge undertaking to say the least. I had to learn how to use audio equipment and Adobe Audition, how to record and punch-and-roll, how to edit pops and compress, how to set a music bed, how to find the perfect noice floor, how to isolate the voice and reduce dB, how to meet ACX standards and upload files to InAudio, how to set markers and measure Amplitude Statistics… I could go on. I’m still learning. My more humble side has been telling people that this audiobook was a solid B effort. I do believe my next audio production will be even more solid, so be kind. Thank you, Cole Olson, for recommending which technology to even buy. Thank you to all the educators on YouTube for being a free resource to all — VoiceOverAngela, Mary Kate "M.K." Williams, Becca C. Smith, and Neil Collins Media. I had three goals when I first started this project. 1. To produce a solid audiobook. Check. 2. To make the book bigger than myself. Bringing the book to life, giving my writing volume, was not enough for me. I wanted to bring a sense of community to the audiobook. What better way to do that than to get some fellow creatives and Philly locals into the studio! My final goal was to just have fun. And though it was a laborious journey, and many nights made me want to tear out my luscious curly hair, I did, very much so, have fun. And I really do believe that is due to my narrators. I don’t think it would have been nearly as fun without them in the studio. Cannot thank ‘em enough. Love you guys.
