This Halloween was one of the best Halloweens I’ve ever had. Friday evening, I went to my friends Joey and Sigfried’s house party. Went as one of my favorite wise fools, Tim Burton’s Mad Hatter, while my partner Evan went as the Sophia Petrillo from Golden Girls.
While I am a lover of cosplay, I am also a big advocate for classic Halloween costumes, so the night of Halloween, under the harvest moon, I dusted off my witch’s hat and flew off into the starlit night, cape billowing in my wake.
Friday night, I put a shower cap over my sprayed hair then my bonnet, fell asleep, and woke up the following day still mad and headed over to Manayunk for Thrillerdelphia’s FearLit Convention, a conference by horror fans for horror fans.
